These stands look nice and are good quality. My speakers are rounded on the bottom so they might tilt a little sometimes but overall these are great stands for the price.
what a great value for such a low price.was exactly what i was hopeing for and wasnt diapointed.
They worked for my speakers but the speakers did not connect to the stands really well. Could have been a bit better but all in all I am happy.
Great stands for a price. Much cheaper and better quality than most at bestbuy. Took just minutes to setup.
First off, I should mention that the stands are far from universal. And putting the tubes back together will easily break the inside of the plastic sleeve. And if your speakers don't have a perfectly solid, flat/flush square base (mine don't), then the tape is even more of a joke. Let's put it this way, it took me longer to get these @%*$^# to stand up straight and *tenuously* hold my speakers than it did to set up my entire home theater setup. But if you have speakers with any kind of curve to them, like mine do -- the LG LHB977), then you'll have to resort to using little strips of double-sided tape. Yes, I said little strips of tape. I just spent a VERY frustrating half hour putting these together. I finally had to use BLACK DUCT TAPE over one of the sleeves.
I've bought a LOT of stuff on Amazon over the years, and I can't remember feeling so stupid that I had bought such a budget-priced product. And even if you manage to keep the two pieces together, the sleeve doesn't actually screw into anything -- it will just twist left or right until you break it. Sure, they're cheap. HA. If you have very generic, small square cube speakers, then you'll perhaps be okay (assuming you don't break the cheap plastic sleeve, and you probably will, more on that in a second). I'm pretty good at assembling stuff (even Ikea furniture), but after much swearing and sweating, these stands are about as stable as a house of cards.
But the biggest problem with these are the cheap plastic sleeves which (supposedly) allow for easy height adjustment. When extending them to full height, be VERY careful not to pull the two tubes apart, as it is remarkably easy to do so. One good sneeze in their direction, and I'm pretty certain they will collapse and send my speakers to the floor. Because they're cheap.
